Watch this TEDtalk by social psychologist Amy Cuddy. She explains how “power posing”- standing in a posture of confidence, even when we don’t feel confident – can positively affect testosterone and cortisol levels int he brain, and might have an impact on our chances for success. Cuddy suggests we can change other people’s perceptions of us, as well as our own body chemistry, by changing body positions.
