Compassion for Emotional Regulation

Stanford University’s Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education (CCARE) has been gathering data on the effects of their 8-week compassion training program on their participants. In this video, Thumpten Jinpa, author of A Fearless Heart: How the Courage to Be Compassionate Can Transform Our Lives, shares the study results. He shares the effect that compassion has had on the ability to regulate emotions.
