Bringing Community to Our Classrooms

from Global Nomads Groups homepage

The work of Onward is focused on cultivating resilience in ourselves and other adults although the habits and dispositions are applicable to our students as well. I know that building up the resilience of my 2 teenage sons is something that I am continually working on and understanding the habits and dispositions from Onward helps.

So in this post, we share an idea of how to bring this month’s habit of building community to our classrooms. Ready to help your students cultivate their resilience? Start by having them focus on the habit of building community through the Global Nomads Group. Check out their website where they share: We are a collection of people committed to fostering dialogue and understanding among the world’s youth. We envision a new generation of global citizens who are empathetic, aware, and taking action to solve some of the world’s most pressing issues.

How can you help your students understand the importance of building a healthy community?
