Build Relationships Through Celebrations

For those of us in education, the end of a school year is a great time to celebrate those within our organization – that includes the students in our classrooms. But in order to truly celebrate and appreciate someone, you need to have a relationship and connection with them. The more you know your students’ strengths, the more likely you will be able to appreciate them in a way that will make them feel valued and heard.

This scene from the movie The Blind Spot does just that. And for those of you that are coaches, think about this clip with this question in mind: How are you using your understanding of your clients to help transform them?
