In Chapter 7 Elena goes on to share that Your mind wants instruction. It wants to serve you well and make you happy. It needs clear and explicit directions. This is what intention setting does, in a kind and compassionate way.
So try it. Set an intention for an upcoming meeting. Identify what it might look and sound like to be holding that intention. Write it down. Share it. Build some accountability. Give you mind a fighting chance to focus on the bright spots.
