The Connection of Mindfulness to Compassion

As you work your way through Onward, exploring all the various habits and dispositions of a resilient person, you have probably noticed the interconnectedness of so many of these. So it should come as no surprise that the first step towards compassion starts with simply noticing or being mindful of what is around you. You can’t get to the act of compassion if you are too caught up in your life and not noticing what is happening around you.
