I love seeing Onward showing up in different places out in the world. Elena’s work is referenced in Safeguarding the Mental Health of Teachers, an article that appeared in Usable Knowledge by Harvard Graduate School of Education. The article is a conversation between the author of the article, Emily Bourdreau and Henry Seton, a longtime high school teacher and department head who initially wrote, The Elephant in the Classroom for Educational Leadership, ASCD’s publication on the same topic. This was shared with me by someone that I met while presenting the Art of Coaching in Boston a few months ago (thanks Joshua, if you are reading this!) And when I saw his email, I was reminded of the amazing community we are building here. A community where we share resources and the work that we are doing. The Onward newsletter that was sent last week focus on YOU as the bright spot in this work, and it is never more apparent to me than when we strengthen connections and build community.
