The article Meditation Could Improve Empathy, Study Suggests shares how a small study out of Emory University revealed that mediation potentially has the power to increase our empathy by helping people better read facial expressions. “It’s an intriguing result, suggesting that a behavioral intervention could enhance a key aspect of empathy,” study researcher Jennifer Mascaro, a post-doctoral fellow at Emory, said in a statement.
