I just love this video of quadruplets hugging. They are so adorable! We build our resilience by surrounding ourselves with people that support us and sometimes, let’s be honest, you just need a hug.
In Chapter 6 of Onward titled Take Care of Yourself, Elena Aguilar shares a study: “The How of Happiness professor Sonja Lyubomirsky (2007) cites a study in which people assigned to give or receive hugs five times a day ended up much happier than their nonhugging counterparts in the study.”
